Olivia Byard has published two books of poetry and is just finishing a third collection. Her first book, From a Benediction from Peterloo Poets, was nominated for the Forward Prize for Best First Collection in 1998. Her second poetry collection, Strange Horses, published October, 2011, was cited by The Telegraph as one of the best new collections in January 2012, and is still collecting excellent reviews.

Her work has also been widely published in journals, magazines and anthologies both in Britain and abroad. She works in Oxford as a creative writing tutor.
